Music by The Missing Parts

Dominique Nigro

Dominique Nigro, a graduate of the SF State school of Music and Dance has trained/ performed in a multitude of theater/dance styles. She has been an active member of the Bay Area performance/dance community for the past 11. She currently dances/collaborates with Oakland based Piñata Dance Collective, under the direction of Liz Boubion, and the dance/theater/improv project Dynamism Movement(of which she is a founding member along with Benni Baker).  As a highly sensitive individual, her improvised performance technique seeks to navigate/explore space between honest and performative emotional states.

Improvisation

This is the first time her personal practice will be made public, an improvised meditation on tough tenderness, a rage against learned self-censorship, and a study on how to feast on the scraps of life.

Robyn gerbaz

Robyn Gerbaz is an Oakland-based performer, improviser and educator.

Lazy Gaze

This piece draws inspiration from Elisabeth Vogler in Ingmar Bergman's film, "Persona".

Kim ip

Kim Ip, “Krimm”, has been making work fresh out of her vintage 2014 Mills College swimming pool. Her body of work is determined by the ways in which womxn and femme-ness have been presented in film and mainstream media. She uses dance as a vehicle to explore her hopes and fears of a femme existence in public space.
